Ronaldo Lemos, Director of Creative Commons Brazil, by Joi Ito
Here is a podcast you can listen to where Dr.Ronaldo Lemos talks about the difference between Creative Commons and iCommons.

Dr. Ronaldo Lemos is the director of the Creative Commons Brazil and a member of the Board of iCommons, which makes him the right candidate to explain the differenes between the two organizations.

He is the director of the Center for Technology and Society at the FGV School of Law in Rio, Brazil. He is also the head professor of Intellectual Property law at the same school.

He is one of the founders of Overmundo, the largest Web 2.0 iniative in Brazil. He has earned his LL.B. and LL.D. from the University of Sao Paulo, and his LL.M. from Harvard Law School.

Hey Kiruba! Thanks for this awesome podcast. As there is still some confusion around this issue, I think Ronaldo very clearly explains what iCommons is all about.

Btw, you can embed a podcast into the story: after you have sent it to the editing queue, a notice will appear that will state that you can 'now add a photo slideshow, video or audio' - you click on audio and upload it from there...

Just a friendly hint. Thanks again!

Hey Kiruba. One other correction to this post is that Ronaldo Lemos is actually the chairman of the iCommons board. Thanks!

Thanks Dan, for the info.

I tried adding in the embed code but had some problems. Let me try again for the next show and will let you know how it goes.

Cheers and regards!

Sure Kiruba!

Let me know if you need any help with the upload, and if there is a problem please open a ticket to explain what is going wrong, on our Trac system (http://trac.movimento.cc/index.fcgi/icommons) which is helping us deal with bugs on the site.

Looking forward to the next installment! :)

The Trac system is an awesome idea. Will definitely report any bugs I come across. You guys are doing a swell job on the site.

Dan, I tried uploading the audio files (MP3) for the newer podcasts when I realised that there is a 8MB file limit. Most of my podcasts are around the 10MB limit and hence not getting accepted.

Is there any way you can increase the file size for audio files to about 15MB. That would be quite useful.

Thanks for letting me know about this Kiruba... I will see what we can do - if we can't change it now, we may have to wait for the next version. But I'll chat with the developers. Much appreciated, and also, for your continued uploads to icommons.org! :)
