Artist Press Kit goes home

I'm thinking that a good possibility for the artist press kit might be to have a system where the fan is able to (through sites like jamendo, jamglue, ccmixtrr, simuze, magnitune, garage band, kompoz and the many many other sites that have incorporated the CC license into their system plus all the many many other forms of art that include photographers ,short film makers, poets, book readers... ) make a request for a live show of the art they choose in their house or area. The artist press kit (link to press kit) could be imbedded into these sites at the artists request. Very similar to what Jamendo have with their artist's albums or youtube for blogs. The information would be coded into the artists space within that site. The focus of the system would be towards home style/free culture concerts for artists rather than a concert in a regular venue. The artist would be able to tour their book of poems maybe with a film maker or a singer songwriter, DJ, a sculptor. They could set up their tour based on the amount of requests in an area.
One thing that upsets me a lot about the live scene is this: I often see a lot of people bring their friends from all over a city/town/country side to a venue. The venue mostly pay nothing to self published artists to perform, while their friends spend a lot of money drinking. Sometimes the artist is even paying for the space. Surely the best thing to do is to gather people in a home or a free culture space and if your going to drink beer, then make it free beer. http://www.freebeer.org .
A system like this developed in conjunction with an open source project like word press or wiki could really change the way the way that the public view art. Even if we can get 10 percent of this vision, its better than what artists have to deal with at the moment.
