Recently I spoke with Laurent Kratz the co-founder and CEO of Jamendo. Laurent mentioned that Jamendo might be interested in the possibility of incorporating a hafhp style license into their system. Much of the music within Jamendo maintains the commercial rights to that content (around 3000 full albums are listed on the Jamendo site that maintain the commercial rights). Nothing has been formalized, its nice though to know that Jamendo see's the potential of having such a license within their system.

thought:
To make the hafhp license more attractive, it might be best to split any revenue with the artists and the charity. This way their would be an incentive for both the artist and the charity to promote the material. Getting charities to promote materials that are not published is going to take some work. Yet i reckon its possible.
