Option B: iSummit 08 Concert
Heather Ford, Johannesburg (South Africa) · 23/8/2007 19:30

Fumi, Yas, Iida-san and I went to visit the Sapporo Dome last night as another possibility for the iSummit concert. The Dome fits over 37,000 people (just about enough for those who would attend our concert) and apparently concerts by Billy Joel and others have not filled the stadium.

The Dome was built for the 2002 Soccer World Cup but it also accommodates baseball and is the home of the Hokkeido Nippon-Ham Fighters who won last night's game.

The Dome is probably too big for our purposes (I think we'd lack atmosphere if it was held here) but it would be a great idea for participants to come to a game while they're here. Sapporo people are great baseball fans and its a treat to watch. Thanks to Katsuhiro-san for the great tickets!

Heather, did you say 37,000 seat? Whoa, That might be 36,500 too many!! :)
That said, thanks for taking the time out to explore the various locations.

The Ski place still looks like an interesting venue for the concert.
