The First South African Academy Planned for Next Month!

Great news! Jimmy Wales will be coming out to SA in early November to hold the first of many Wikipedia Academies in Africa :) Taddy Blecher from CIDA City Campus has kindly and excitedly agreed to host one of the Academies and we're busy looking for a venue for the Afrikaans Academy. The Wikimedia Foundation will help fund the Academy in the first active partnership between iCommons and Wikipedia and iCommons is looking for local media and corporate sponsors to sponsor each event.
