Martijn Arnoldus' curiosity about Creative Commons was first tickled in 2004. Being trained as an urban geographer and studying creative cities and creative industries, at that time his professional horizon ended at the fringes of the suburbs. It was the Dutch independent think tank Kennisland | Knowledgeland that helped him to discover the world of open content, Creative Commons and copyright law.
Martijn joined the Dutch CC-team in 2005. His activities range from the exploration of open content business models to open education and the preservation of audiovisual cultural heritage.
